1 Attend & Apply

Hearing about our vision for Veritas and seeing the school at an Open House is an important first step to help you decide if this is the right education option for your family.

For those wish to apply, please read the Veritas Family Handbook and complete the Online Application If you have not previously attended an Open House, RSVP here, as attendance at an Open House is a required step in the Admissions process at Veritas.

Applications received by January 15th will be processed in our Priority Round. Decisions for this first round of applications will be released by March 15th. All other applications are processed on an individual basis pending availability.

Attendance at an Open House is required as part of the Admissions process at Veritas.

Please join us next fall for an Open House!

2 Assessment & Interview

Families tell us the feedback they receive from the student assessment and parent interview is invaluable in helping them decide if Veritas is a fit for their family.

Upon receipt of the application, you will be contacted by a faculty member to set up a student placement assessment. After the student assessment, we will schedule a parent interview with the Headmaster and a Board member. Both parents are required to attend the parent interview.

3 Enroll & Become a Co-Teacher

Upon acceptance to Veritas, parents may complete the Enrollment & Tuition Commitment Agreement to reserve your child’s spot and pay the non-refundable enrollment fee. In late August, before the Fall semester begins, Community Training will be held. Parent attendance is required at Community Training. Please check the Calendar for the training dates.

Once enrolled, the journey begins! We will do our best to prepare you to be a co-teacher for your child and will provide you with plenty of support along the way. For more information on what it looks like to be a co-teacher, please visit our University-Model page and the FAQ page.

TUITION & FEES

For the upcoming 2024-2025 school year:

Kindergarten through 4th grade - $6,750 per student

5th through 8th grades - $8,400 per student

9th through 12th grades - $8,950 per student

The final enrollment deadline for the 2023-2024 school year is May 15, 2023.

The enrollment fee (non-refundable) is $475 per student. This fee reserves a student’s place for the upcoming school year and helps the school cover its per-student fixed costs (software systems, insurance, etc).

A pre-payment discount of 2% is available for tuition paid in full by July 1st. Discounts do not apply to the enrollment fee. Also, please note that additional costs (including uniforms, books, Latin training, extra curriculars/athletics, etc.) run between $700- $1000 for the first year at Veritas, depending on the student.

FINANCIAL AID

A limited amount of tuition assistance is available for families with demonstrated need.  Veritas utilizes a third-party organization called FACTS to assess financial need on behalf of the school. We encourage families to apply as soon as they are able.  The priority deadline for financial aid applications for the 2024-2025 school year is February 15, 2024. The final financial aid application deadline is May 1, 2024. However, for new students applying to Veritas, you may apply for tuition assistance at any point, but applications for financial assistance will only be considered upon acceptance to Veritas.

For more information, please email Ginger Wallace, Director of Admissions.

NONDISCRIMINATION POLICY

Veritas Preparatory School does not discriminate based on race, gender, color, national and ethnic origin with regard to all the rights, privileges, programs, activities, educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, or other school administered programs.

SPECIAL NEEDS

At Veritas, we recognize that all students have different academic, emotional, and physical  needs. While we are a small school with limited resources, we will attempt to accommodate a  student’s learning disabilities to the best of our ability. Please note that in order for a student to  receive any academic accommodation at Veritas the parent(s)/or guardian(s) must provide  professional testing and documentation for a specific learning or physical disability. At this  time, we do not have a licensed school psychologist on staff and are not able to provide academic evaluations or testing on campus. If a student is transferring to Veritas with an IEP  from a public school, copies of all testing and professional diagnosis must be provided to the  VPS school counselor upon enrollment. A meeting will be scheduled with the school counselor,  the US/LS principal, the classroom teacher, and the parent to discuss accommodation options at  Veritas. Each student and circumstance will be evaluated on an individual basis. As a private  school, we do not provide IEPs for our students with disabilities, but will offer reasonable  educational and physical accommodations with proper documentation.
