Emily Welch | Upper School Administrative Assistant
Emily Welch is the new Upper School Administrative Assistant. Her family has been part of the Veritas community for over a decade. Born and raised in the Upstate of South Carolina, she earned an Associate of Visual Arts from Greenville Technical College and worked in the printing and advertising industry for 10 years before staying home to raise her family. As her children grew older, she served the community by helping on the playground and substitute teaching. She found being around students fulfilling and was excited when a more involved position opened up.
Emily hopes to encourage and model Christ-like behavior as she spends her school days with the students. She lives in Greenville with her husband, Matthew, and their two children, Alden (15) and Eli (12). They attend Grace Church, Pelham Road, and have a dog and three cats. In her spare time, Emily enjoys bead weaving, audiobooks, thrifting, and laughing. She looks forward to meeting everyone as the year begins!
