Katie Lee | Upper School Math and Science
Katie joined the Veritas staff in 2020, teaching Upper School Science and Maths. She is returning after spending the year living in Genoa, Italy. She graduated with a BA in architecture from UNC-Charlotte and has also studied photography, ceramics, and painting in both New York City and Italy. Before teaching at Veritas, Katie taught middle school Maths and English as a Second Language for ten years in public schools in North Carolina. She enjoys running, biking, hiking, yoga, gardening, reading, painting, and building things. She and her husband, Dave, have a son that also attends Veritas and they are all members of St. Matthew UMC.
