Joseph received his B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Joseph has worshiped and served in the church since high school. He's a returning member of New Covenant Church in Anderson. Before joining VPS, Joseph worked in retail, food service, banking, and other industries. He loves theology, the arts and humanities, writing, getting out in nature, walking or hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
