Ashley grew up in the upstate and attended Anderson University, where she received her degrees in Communications and Theology. She taught Bible at Mitchell Road Christian Academy for 9 years, during which time she also received her Masters in Education from Columbia International University. Ashley is married to her high school sweetheart, Nolan, and they have a three year old daughter named Millie and a golden retriever named St. Augustine (Gus for short). They attend Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church and are frequently-disappointed-but-ever-hopeful Caroline Gamecock fans.
